CO-STRAP Polyester Corded Composite Straps are produced from high tenacity polyester yarns and polypropylene flakes joined by extrusion. It is called polyester corded composite strap due its composite structure.

Due to its superior properties, composite strapping is preferred for heavy loads and loads carried under difficult conditions.

CO-STRAP polyester corded composite straps are stiff but flexible products that can be easily used at various packaging applications. They are highly resistant to severe weather conditions (especially hot climates) and unlike PET and Steel Straps they do not break instantly from a single point against impacts. (Due to the low elasticity of Steel Strap, it can easily break from a single point against impacts during transportation.) Comparing products with the same breaking strength, CO-STRAP polyester corded composite straps’ impact resistance is 7 times higher than Steel Straps’.

CO-STRAP polyester corded composite strap should be used with our galvanized wire buckles. When used this way CO-STRAP polyester corded composite strap has considerably higher system breaking strength than textile straps, woven Straps, PET or PP straps and it does not get loose during transportation. It allows your cargo to reach the destination without being damaged.

The most important factor affecting the system breaking strength is the joint. CO-STRAP Polyester Corded Composite Straps’ joint strength is around 75-90 %.

CO-STRAP polyester corded composite straps, CO-STRAP textile straps and CO-STRAP woven straps can be re-tensioned if necessary. Especially for goods packed in rows on the pallet, strap will not get loose due to its high elasticity.

CO-STRAP polyester corded composite straps come in a wide range of dimensions. We have products that can be used, depending on the type of application and the weight of the pallet, in different widths (from 13mm up to 40mm) and in various breaking strengths (from 250 kgf up to 2600 kgf.)
