Gülcüoğlu Mansions Restoration Project: The XVIII century Historic Landmark Mansions have been donated to the City of Tire by Gülcüoğlu family. They have been restored and converted into boutique hotels in order to preserve their historical heritage but also to allow Tire, for the first time, the possibility to offer a valuable and unique alternative to host its visitors which would blend wonderfully with the historic nature of this ancient city.
Another building belonging to Gülcüoğlu family, Kutu Han, is the most important historic structure in Tire. The “arasta” or covered market in the eastern wall is a fine example of careful architectural planning dating all the way back to 15th century. The TaluTrade Group is actively pursuing converting the Kutu Han into a non-profit touristic attraction that will serve as a new landmark for the region.
In addition, The TaluTrade Group supports non-profit educational and environmental organizations such as EÇEV, TEV, TEMA.
