Dunnage bags are used to secure the products inside the container, the railway wagon or the truck. During long sea and railway shipments, In order to prevent rubbing of the pallets with each other, to eliminate the risk of overturning etc.
There are two kinds of Dunnage bags: Polypropylene Woven and Kraft. The sizes and dimensions vary according to the weight of the pallets, the dimensions and the internal dimensions of the containers. At the same time, there are classifications which are called as Levels in terms of quality (strength) of the Dunnage Bags

- Level 4: Best used in rail and ocean shipments with flatwall voids.
- Level 5: Best used in rail and ocean shipments for heavy applications, such as paper rolls, bricks, or metals.
